Nebraska Monarchs is pleased to announce that our organization will be receiving $500 in grant money from Men's Garden Club of Omaha to support the Native Plant Giveaway and Environmental Expo and provide food for hungry caterpillars!
The Native Plant Giveaway and Environmental Expo is estimated to cost about $20,000 each year. As a volunteer-run organization, Nebraska Monarchs volunteers work hard to find funding sources to ensure this event is possible each year. Grants like the one from Men's Garden Club of Omaha are so helpful in reaching our funding goals.
You can help! Grant donations do not cover everything, so donations from the public can really help fill in funding gaps, as well as support other great Nebraska Monarchs educational programs throughout the year.
