Community Help Needed to Continue Free Seed Program

For the first time in Nebraska Monarch’s 7-year history, I am asking the public for help. Nebraska Monarchs has received a large influx of seed requests since the Monarch butterfly was declared endangered. I am pleased to see the demand but may be forced to end the free seed program within the next 30 days.


Once the Monarch was declared endangered, our program was shared by local, state, and national news outlets and on social media nearly 100,000 times! The demand for seeds has exceeded what I can provide.


We offer many free programs to the community through strategic partnerships. However, I personally fund the free seed program with my own money. To continue this program, I need your help.
